Welcome to the MAC Project

CBGC Mac ProjectThe MAC (Music and Change) Project is designed as a course to engage young people about career possibilities within music. From production, to artist management, the MAC project seeks to give participants a new pathway to professional studies, in an informal and immersive manner.

The MAC Project has been rolled out in schools in Coventry, along with sessions within the CBGC Club House on Whitefriars Street. The course was invisioned and championed by CBGC Youth Leader, Leah O’Loughlin, and is designed and taught by Howard Richards and John Bernard.

The MAC Project is open to all, and is particularly valuable to those who may feel disconnected with their current education or need a positive environment to keep them away from the streets.

The sessions will provide both theory and practical lessons, with one-to-one mentoring and guidance on how to pursue a career in the music industry. If you are a teacher, parent, carer, or young person interested in joining the MAC Project, please complete the form below.
